1061cc(998 +80) with K100 8 valve head injection. centre main strap. gonna have a fairly standard bottom head to be honest. not looking for massive bhp just a nice useable cruiser so i can use it for work.(45 mile drive)
998 +80 might actually be 1062 actually depending on what website i look on.

hmm not sure really i havent looked at it that much as i am not if it will work yet anyway.i got my pistons from minispares before christmas. november i think. i think the head will lose a bit of cr from being skimmed and the block will be faced off aswell. i think i might need to do some sums tonight. hopefully the machine shop will call in a bit and get me down there to have a look.
SC do different thickness gaskets aswell. maybe to make it easy i should use a thick HG and maybe a Decompression plate and just whack a turbo on. wont have to worry about the valves hitting the pistons or block then.......

i cant see why keeping the CR up would be an issue as long as galleries arent too close to the deck of the head, can always be skimmed, block can be decked and pistons decked if room allows
oh yeah! turbo it, put a T25 on it or maybe even smaller

speaking to simon (morspeed) he advised me that keeping the cr up would be difficult,
as im poor i couldnt do it well enough, well to my standard.
will be mint when your done
because of the pockets in the block for the valves.

if you want a GT series yeah, but with being veriable still might be alot for what is a small engine, if you look at the graphs garrett do, it should be able to indicate what it will be like
