still waiting on a mechanical report for the insurance so i can get it on the road!!

but this weekend between getting drunk, I have fitted the coil onto the bulkhead for the Megajolt and all wiring is now done. I have also fitted my 8 Ball gear knob and fitted a steering column drop bracket that I found in the small box of bits that i got with the car.

Also received in the post was the trigger wheel kit from Specialist Components. well chuffed. just waiting for the extended crank bolt.

I had a play with the roof lining but it is bascially scrap as it was pulled out and all the edges under the windscreens have been torn, so i need to find another one. i think itis a mk1/2 style. it has 6 metal bars fro the fittings.

Also fitted a new air filter taht i ordered online. the car didnt even have one fitted before!!!

Hey Guz

can you do me some more interior pics please.

also do you park brake and brake fail warning like work?

also are you a member on ausmini as i have registered but not had a confirmation and acceptance thingy back yet.

IM SO SORRRRRRYYYYY for the late reply :D . It's just that exams were happening and it was all crazy and such. BUT, im more sane now :teehee: . So, even though its like a century after you asked, but would you still like those interior picks? Im more than happy to take some for you.

My park brake light works, as for brake fail, im not sure :S because i don't know when it's supposed to come on, my brakes have never failed though :teehee: .

As for AusMini, yeah im a member, but i rarely post and i dont visit the forum everyday, sorry i can't really help you :gimme: .

It sounds as if your clubby is very twisty, but should be a ripper when done :ermm:

The engine in the car is now stripped as far as it will go. All i need to do is undo the engine mounts and sort the pot joints and lift the engine out of the car. swap over a couple of bits onto the replacement engine and then put it in. connect everything up. get the megajolt running and go for a smog check and see if it passes. once it has i will then look into fiting the 12g295 cooper head.

engine mounts loose

pot joints ri=ubbers loosened aswell so they will just pop out when the engine is lifted.(thought this would be the quickest way)

need to nick a few bits off the engine coming out like the pulley/damper and actually i think thats it lol.

need to drill a couple of holes in my new engine stand aswell at some point.

You'll need something to lock the flywheel in position when you undo that bolt for the pulley
