Not yet, just been far too busy with other things at the moment. Should be back on this beginning of July though!

Got some nice new 1.3 roller tip rockers to go on as well! :gimme:

Well I've been doing very little work on this every now and then. The engine has pretty much sat in my garage for the past couple of months. Not sure where I left of with the previous update, but I basically got a second block, a 1293, stuck that on my gearbox and then realised the end float on the crank was massive. Quickly pulled it apart and swapped out the thrusts for some decent second hand items. Built it back up after measuring the end float with feelers at 0.004". Then when I was timing the cam I noticed the end float seemed to be quite large again, measured with the DTI guage and sure enough it was twice what the feelers had measured! :P

So, as of today, I've swapped the thrusts for some brand new items, and put the block back on the box. Had to swap one of the studs because the thread was nackered too. My days of measuring the crank end float with feelers are over! Then I got my new Piper lightweight vernier gear on, and timed in the cam to 106* (after originally trying to time in the number 1 exhaust valve :P).

I've also made a bracket to bolt to the differential end cover which the Digidash speed sensor bolts to, so I can take a reading from a magnet glued to the pot joint.

Pretty much got the engine built tonight. Have drilled the breather in the top of the transfer case, as well as chemical metal'd a crack along the bottom of the case, which was weepy oil last time it was on the engine. Have set the clearance on the primary gear to ~0.004" and then bolted on the transfer case, then flywheel - which still needs to be torqued up. Then bolted on the head, and then the shiny, lovely looking 1.3 roller rockers. Head studs have now been toruqed up to. Need to wait on a timing cover to arrive from Minispares, but tomorrow night I will mainly be doing some small bits on the subframe and then rebuilding the twin HS4s I got at L2B.

Also managed to book the Minus in for suspension set up at Bill Richards next Tuesday, and rolling road a week tomorrow!! :shifty:

>_< Those twin "HS4s" I picked up from a member at L2B were actually HS2s! :tumble: Was really looking forward to rebuilding them and getting them on for BH2N! Looks like it'll just be the boggo HIF44.
