I also fitted my inline fuel filter. I just cut the metal fuel pipe short and linked it in with some new fuel hose. Seems to work a treat:

I bought the SPA designs GT mirrors with convex glass for better vision. Decided to fit them before i went to malvern troday so i could test them out on the motorway.
All i can say is they are great! They offer plenty of vision - More than enough for safe pulling out, lane changing and overtaking - Plus they look quality!!
I mounted them about 6 inches from the front of the door to avoid drilling into the vast amount of filled holes that are in my doors.
I also bought some black&silver plates and some nice top quality carpets from the malvern mini show so i'll get round to fitting those nearer xmas.
My only other plans are fitting a red 3/4 point harness on my drivers seat - Just for the hell of it really.

I've realised that my miglia arches are actually quite abit thinner than most other miglia arches you see - especially the rear - I don't really mind though because they do look great.

Im prety sure you can get "race" miglias, whch basictally means they are thinner, so lighter. So im guessing you have these

Your car looks ace mate i've just read the whole thread, such good work keep it up.
Cool, thanks for the comments.
I'm really pleased with how it came out and the last few months my cars been going great (touch wood, don't want to jinx it) it got to malvern and back - 480 miles and didn't miss a beat! Didn't loose any water, only lost abit of oil, clutch seems fine, recently adjusted the back drums so the brakes feel nice and sharp. Generally all going good.
My speakers on the back shelf sound abit dodgy now - Think there on the way out - So they'll be on the list soon i expect.
Don't know when i'm going to get my wheels done - But now i'm at uni i don't have much tim e at home and when i am i'm usually out enjoying the car and meeting up with friends at home etc.
The only problem atm is the engine. Don't get me wrong its great for reliability and fuel - Starts first time etc but theres pretty serious flat spots lower down the rev range which only get a little better when the engines warmed up - Just makes pulling out and overtaking abit difficult. I was going to buy a decent head and cam for it, fix all the oil leaks and get it all tuned up loverly at minisport. But then i think - Why spend that money on a 998 and get maybe 65bhp when i could buy a 1275 which i can keep in almost standard form and get the same or more power. I don't know - Maybe nearer xmas i'll look around for a 1275...

Sounds like a plan but - He just paid for my new clutch which cost him £300 - So the last thing hes going to want is for that to just be wasted
