Well, a few changes since I last updated my journal. What's been done...
New aluminium switch panel fitted to the front of the heater (the centre console wasn't going to fit too well - too much soundproofing and pedals too close.
Doors on, electronic ignition in, grille, moustache and ends on, grille buttons on etc. I'll post some new pics for now, but there will be more very soon, just need to get a little more time downloading them etc, but suffice to say, it's nearly there!
I've got the MOT booked for Wed 11th in the evening - fingers crossed, wish me luck...
Before that, I've got to fit a new steering rack, and my pal will assist me in getting the engine running right. bonnet on, then a final valet and it's as good as new!

Though
you'd like to see the headlining too... Fitting headlining is an art form. I am reasonably happy with the result.

how hard would you say it is to fit head lining yourself i recently tore mine nd need replacing ?

If you are able to follow instructions, use your common sense, set aside plenty time, and refuse to be beaten, then you should manage. Just remember one of my mantras - if someone else can do it, why can't I? Oh, yes it was quite hard!!
