Darren supplied me with one and machined the holes to mate up to the injection / throttle body rubbers -I just need to get an airfloe sensor to mount into it.
Good news on your front - you coming up to Bingley?

Get out and push for a few months but pro-motive are working on a reverse gear mechanism that I will up-date to at the right time.
I'm 18 stone - I only have to lean on the mini and it'll move..LOL..

but dont she look sad!
I cant believe the amount of filler dust in and around the engine bay ! it was in the bodyshop for about a month and its almost 1/4 inch thick in places!
shes plastered in it
engine and subframe is out - next stage is working out where all the electrics are going to be modified, taken out and spliced with the yamaha loom.
I could have done more to help tonight but I just seemed to get in johns way, and managed to give myself a brake fluid shampoo fairly early on........

the loom is probably the hardest part working out which wires to put into were on the ignition switch... things always take longer than you plan dont worry take you time and do it right lol

Thankyou O great one - I will learn patience. One day maybe
I'm gonna try and take it steady, I had a sudden realisation that I needed to source and sort water temp gauges and sensors, oil temp, oil pressure etc etc and I had a little panic.
2 hours on the interweb and everything is sorted !
special spacer plate for the oil filter on its way with ( electrical ) oil pressure and oil temp sensor fittings inserted, guages for these also on the way from merlin. Digital speedo and tacho also coming from merlin, and sized to fit original binnacle so no chopping up of dash required, a unit to tell you what gear you're in with an LED read-out ( nice and small so not too obtrusive ) and finally an in-line water temperature sensor mounted into a piece of 30mm aluminium tube to splice into the top radiator hose.
the list of other bits to sort / source is getting smaller so I'm a lot happier today.
thanks for the boost

What do you need to do to make the R1 speedo show the right speed?
