Your not haveing much luck roofless.

it can only get better

saying that, my engine gave up the ghost today.

in fairness the bearing gave us a warning shot over a week ago - but we thought it was the inner CV again. :D next time something goes wrong remind me - its definately not the inner CV .................

not sure - phil's usually pretty good at pricing parts that fail, I'm hoping not too much.

I have to keep reminding myself this is still very much development in progress - as bits fail they get made better and it all improves. I just wished it was less regular. like every time i go to a show.

well, they say if your gonna break it do it properly !!!

john got the main bearing block off the front of the subframe, and bear in mind its stainless steel, the back end had 'popped' open like a soft apple.
its ripped open 18mm worth of stainless steel to the extent that the one side of the block is now 10mm thicker than the other.

oops.

getting new one thursday night :w00t:

I'll get a photo up soon - you wont believe it :shifty:

rock on, but it seems like quite a sturdy component.

if it managed to eat its self, id suspect something else is wrong also.
