you crease me up fella
I tell you what though when you hit the shows with the mini, people will be all over you, I dont think I stopped talking to folks all day, there was one guy over from portugal and he was as keen as mustard, and an Asian fella who asked loads of questions and simply said at the end - ' its probably more fun than my Porsche 911 RS '
I met your buddy there today and he explained how his expertise with bikes is leading you towards utilising the R1 loom, and it makes a lot more sense now, the way he described it made it sound like the perfect idea and I reckon he's gonna do a top job.
won 3 awards today

won best interior

menage a trois !

Hey Basky - nice build! Where did you get that trick chain guard / cover, or did you fabricate it? I've been contemplating something similar....

phil has made the chain guards - they're excellent mine is having extra holes for my scot oiler.
bad news..............R1 is RIP - oil boiling up and gushing out of the crankcase breather, wont start, I think its oilpump / water pump failure leading to terminal over-heat and ring failure.
anyone got a spare 5PW R1 they dont need ?

what we have noticed is that if left to idle it'll warm up to 100 degrees pretty quickly but the top hose stays cool - maybe it just needs a bit of gentle help to push the water around?
