AG SRP will remove light swirls/scratches etc.

More info the better.

well, does the roof feel gritty to the touch or like glass?

if gritty you need to clay.

then it depends on money really.

how much you willing to spend?

if you want a simple to use kit, try the megs 3 wax system from halfrauds.

now, you can use a paint cleaner (its in the 3 wax system) from zymol etc, but it depends on your las wax as to wether you need to or not.

you can try, clay, something like turtle wax top gloss sealer followed by 915.

what colour is your car?

collinite 915 £15, will last a decent time.

thats a decent all rounder colour wise, but for silver or darker try nattys blue.

dodo wax is getting good reviews.

depends on colour as to which to use.

but try the megs 3 system, with decent MF towels and see how you go.

always do the 2 bucket with decent shampoo.

i rinse, foam, rinse, shampoo, seal then wax, for metalics.

ok, nice deep colour.

2 bucket, wash mitt not sponge, rinse etc

would advise the megs 3 wax system, can be hard work to get it perfect, if its a warm day for instance, but you will notice the difference.

its when you start using the more serious wax's that you start to spend the money.

it can take me 8hrs to wash, clean, wax a mini!

2 buckets.

wash mitt.

cheaper wash mitt for sills, rear valance, front valance, inner of arches and wheels (more about wheels further down)

shampoo.

hose pipe.

fill one bucket with clean water (thats your rinse bucket), other bucket with shampoo and warm water.

rinse car, to get the heavy grit etc off.

wash mitt time, start at roof and give it a good shampoo, then rinse mitt in clean water.

repeat on each panel till car is clean.

sills, rear valance are last.

as for wheels, after washing, use the SRP to get rid of the brake dust, also good to keep em clean, but a proper wheel sealer is best.

dry car with MF (i use sonax)

then use the megs 3 system.

if you want more, just pm.
