Hi All,
Im new to the forums, but have been building my mini for about 4 years on and off.(dont think i touched it for a whole year actually!!) Anyway.......i made a bad engine choice at the start of the project (young and nieve!) but now i have seen sense......its just gotta be a V8. I know its a bit late down the line, but im taking out the 2.5 V6 ive got in ther this week. After reading this thread im even more keen to get on with it..............but (theres always a but).............i would sure apprieciate some advice on this mamouth task. Are you using Rover hubs at the rear? How do the driveshafts fall into place with the engine transverse? I know its sounds like im coming in blind on this.......and i am, but im a man on a mission now. If you could give me some advice on getting started, (ie.Model of Rover V8 etc.....)i would really apprieciate it. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Hopefully i will have some progress to show you soon.

Cheers

Howzter

Looks very, very cool. Is the bodykit steel or fibreglass?

Hi Minivanman,
All the bodykit will be glass and the front end flip will be glass too, to be honest i think thers only about 50% of the original steelwork left! But the important other 50% still gives it the mini look, and that is a must!
