The threaded part is bigger than the shank so wont fit thru the caliper to screw into the hub

Ah so you went for the Toyota pump!

Would you be able to get the part number off your TPS and maybe take some close up shots. Were trying to work out which TPS sensor John used as the standard BMW is a switch type instead of a variable type.

Yeah matty, always wantted to try and avoid the return fuel pipe. Just seemed like a neater simple solution, just got to fit it to the tank which I'll see on saturday when i pick it up.

I'll have a look at the TPS part number over the next couple of days. Think its a standard BMW one thou?

Mini is back on 4 wheels tonight, got the coil over top brackets fitted and the coilovers etc, put the wheels on and lowered off the stands, not sorted the brake calipers yet but means I can move it around again.

Delivery from Minispares also turned up today, engine paint, new clutch master cylinder and couple of other bits

Changed the master cylinder but cant bleed it till the engine is in obviously

Painted a few of the small bits and pieces like alternator bracket and stripped down a rod change mechanism to give it a good clean and paint up. Picked it up cheap as my old gearbox was a remote change but it is in a bit of a state. Should soon clean up thou.

Forgot the camera again also!

What do you mean by extra drillings? It fits in place of standard water pump

or do you mean the subframe?

Ah right

Didn't take any pictures but subframe is held in place via the following

2x tower mounts, not standrad thou as the tubular upright fits thru the bulkhead and then there is a nut instead of the bolt.

rear subframe "legs" fit via 4 nuts/bolts to each leg, 2 into the horizontal part of the floor and two into the sloping bulkhead part

across the bulkhead, just under my turbo box are 3 fixings

then behind each tower upright there is a plate with 4 fixings which half of which can be seen just to the left of the coilover in the picture

There are also mounts to carry the front panel again not standard and I still need to work something out for these but shouldnt be a problem

So in total there are 23 fixings to the body for the subframe!!!

It came with a davies craig pump and controller so will be running with no thermostat, I know some people have had these fail but its what came with the package so will be going back on.

Also there will be an electric fan and thermostatic controller
