Honest Ade,
There is a R1 front engined rear wheel drive in Mini chat on part of the fwdr1mini post on the R1 FWD conversion

lol I don't doubt your word David... I'm the first to admit there's every chance it's me who's wrong!! :D

As for the sale of mine, well I've got a gent from Austria who is coming to have a look at it next week with a view to taking it away if all is present and correct and a gent from Aberdeen who is interested and was discussing coming down to have a look before then so who knows. Until I see great wedges of cash I'll just keep waiting

i noticed the the front end frame had pins at the top which were for visual use only, its prop driven rear wheel drive, the propshaft comes straight out the gearbox to the rear axle, the rear axle is indipendent suspension

thats all i worked out by looking at it...might be more if u remind me what u wanted to know
i was concentrating more on the green mini down the way infront the miniworld stand...lovely!

Hi,

Thank you for the nice comments,

The Mini belongs to me :w00t: it took me 12 months to build, it is front engine , rear wheel drive ( sierra diff ), the exhaust exits through the boot lid , paint colour is Seat Leon Amarillo, fitted with 13 x7 Revolites on P9000 195/45 tyres. Engine is " B " ZX9R , barnett springs, Cone filters, dynojet carbs, stainless exhaust, twin alloy tanks, acewell speedo, Luke harnesses , fibreglass flip front , angel headlights , leather seats & door panels etc, handles very very good :- , intention is to get it corner weighed when i can find time, just wish it would stop raining so i can enjoy it more.

Cheers

was very very nice indeed, people have mentioned in the past there conserns about weight distribution with the RWD, does it handle as good as it looks?
