But I've just sat and read through the whole thread,.. it's not so scary after all
I believe i might come across the same problem that Ethel did, as I have a Belt drive kit to replace the Timing chain.

But I guess that's the same as using the original -ve coil wire that goes to the tacho really.

hmmmm now i'm planning building a special 998 up and at first considered Megajolt to be a Mega pain in the arse.

Belt kit made it easier for me if anything - depends where you're planning on putting the tooth wheel, as long as it's not between the fanbelt pulley and engine you'll be fine.

could you fit the white and black wire from the original coil to the rev counter gauge of the edis in order to got rpm on original 3 clocks ?
Yes it should work. if not try taking the feed form the pip signal.

so 5 watts / 12 = 0,416 A
or 21 / 12 = 1,75 A so without resistance, it 's not usuable
For a 5 watts bulbs with leds, we got 0,416 A enought for a shift light ?
the shift light output, can drive 500 mA.
As fas as I'm concerned, this kind of led bulb could be great ! a realy for this you believe ?
