There was a Corgi Paul Smith Mini, but it was the multi-coloured striped variety as seen in the design museum.

I've heard that they have done (or are planning) a Paul Smith Blue version, but it might only be available in Japan.

The multi-coloured model was a LLedo model before corgi bought them out, it was a 1/43 model and there where two versions, one with a green front and on with an orange front.

Sorry a Code 3 model is one that has not been produced by the factory, ie stripped down and resprayed by a third party.

like the official silverstone mini45 model

Well then my niece once owned a code 3 model then because the bloke who runs a large Mini model stand at the shows (Brian Marshall) sprayed a standard Mini up to Paul Smith spec for her and fitted her numberplate on to it too.

Well she did used to own a Mini Paul Smith, but sold it a few years ago and I don't know what became of that model.

Yes it happens quite a lot.

The paul smith mini that I have was a limited edition that I obtained through one of the mini magazines about 9 yrs ago it had jewelled spotlights, I also got a green cooper sport le and a model of that monster of a mini with orange bonnet stripes. JUST REMEBERED IT WAS CALLED THE MINI HOT ROD very fast and sounded like a big american job.

Just got my Italian Job Rally one today in the post.. It actually got me thinking.. Is there a way of connecting it to the lights in my car?.. Like, when I switch the lights on in the real deal, the model ones come on also?

That would be pretty cool, especially at night with the model on the parcel shelf.. Anyone shed some light on how to go about this?
