i managed to find a corgi model that looked likes the wife's new cooper (Alice) at the Birmingham MOC show on Sunday.
OK, so it's an RSP, but as the wife's car has the options pack it looks very close...
and whats the surprise ????
it's got working headlights
how coooooooool is that ????
Yes this is a RSP model and is the only RSP model that has been released by CORGI....it is a replica of Rob Stacey's Mini and was specially produced for this years London to Brighton Run.
Out of interest Anorak...how much did you pay for it? (PM me if you don't want to say the price)

Rob Stacey - RSP Mini Cooper e-Bay link
But I know I can't make a bid at the moment, because I've had my treat this month already.

That's stonking! I love the lights
I love corgi minis too! Thought you might like my most prized one Anorak, it's called the London Collection...
Chelsea, Park Lane and Piccadilly
Where did you get those from Verns_PlayMate? That's one set I don't have and I'm keeping my eyes peeled on e-Bay for it.
saw one on ebay

unfortunately about £60.00

Wooo! £60!! I paid £20 for mine several months again from a mini show
There was one on e-Bay recently that went for around that price, but I missed it.
As for £60.00, well the owners telling fibs because the set was made after 1987, since that was when the Mini Park Lane LE was produced. Not that it's going to make any difference to the asking price I shouldn't think.

I always wanted the Italian Job mini set with the coach but there around £300 i think?
It's mad because the Mini models aren't great representations and the coach is of the type used for the more accurate model of The Beatles "Magical Mystery Tour" set, rather than the coach seen in "The Italian Job".
But that's hype for you I guess and I can remember seeing that set at a local model shop for around £25.00 a mere 6 or 7 years ago.
