IS the MI16 from the 306gti-6?
the Mi16 is from the 405 Mi16 and citroen BX 16v, quite old now and has cack air flow meters
GTi-6 is based on the iron block Mi16, although very different, has with more power and torque & proper management.
You lose a lot of stering lock with the 6 speed box and the added waight is not really worth the hastle.
It would be fast top speed though!
yeah thats true mate, even the standard 306 gti-6 has a naff turning circle as I found out today, will be worse in a 205 but nice on the motorway,, best choice for a rally car would just be a 1.6gti box imo, thats if your going for an xu engine

Sounds cool ive always liked 205's didnt some of them come with 2.0 liter engines and a 6 speed gear box??
not as standard although its a common conversion from the 306gti6 which is what sam is doing
chris's friend off FSC does nice arches, the ones i told u about last night, and then go compomotive wheels
i think if u get a 309 rear beam it brings the track out further, good for stability
thats my mate cameron who does them, kev knows him too
i bought a complete 306 gti-6 last week, gunna scrap that and put the engine in my 205, with the 6 speed box
aye that would be me... yer it was cameron i was telling him about they d look nice!

I want to spend more on my mini, as I think it can be quite competative with a bit more money spent on it.
Im still going to build a 205, but im going to start with a complete car, that has already been preped for rallying to save time and money.
Chris.
