Hi,
I just registered today so I thought I'd introduce myself!
So err... hi, I'm Ben and I live in Northamptonshire, but I'm at Uni in Southampton.

My Mini is a Clubman 1275GT, and I've done a quick post about it in the Projects section if anyone is interested. It's been quite a restoration but it's back on the road now

I'm a Pug man at heart, and still have a 205 GTi left out of my collection. It's been pretty weird going from a GTi to a Mini as mine is far slower than any car, let alone 205 I've owned. Not that they seem slow when you're driving around town/roundabout/country road

So Hey :P

Cheers. The thing owes me enough and gives no end of trouble though

Saying a 205 GTi isn't a proper car?

Yeah my mini is possibly more fun around town but anywhere else I'd take my 205 over the mini without a 2nd thought to be honest!

They're both great cars though. Why is no-one a fan of the 205 GTi here? Not exactly a Nova/Corsa type thing are they?
Mine's standard, no bolt on C**p for me!

Nothing wrong with GTI's and as far as I know nobody here has anything against them. Just minis are preferred (should be expected since its a mini forum isn't it ;p)

205s are cool though :] m16 conversion anyone?

Mi16s are great. I have a few mates who have done the conversion on their 205s.
That's next summers job!

I love 1.9 GTi's, would quite like to have one as a track day car.

The 205 GTi is definatly a future classic...!
