Well as you already have an SPI you could just fit the swift pump into your tank, and if the original lines are in good condition then you can just use those :P
Then there will be very little else you need :gimme:
as i get more done and even get one into a car then i can figure out the other bits required, and even optional bits that could be in the kit
Still alot to do though!!! ;)

Hi Ed, i'm really impressed with this, is a great idea with the alloy block and head and 16vs but was thinking this through and by the looks of things the crank will put the primary gear further out than with the mini box which will make it misaligned with the idler and first motion gear??

Also by the looks of it you are putting a thick piece of alloy between the box and the swift motor which is going to space out the primary and idler gear. In order to make sure they mesh would it not be better to machine the flange off the mini box and then have a new flange made out of alloy and then weld it back on to the box??

I'm probably wrong as i havent got the engine and box in front of me, and i searched on the internet for pictures of the suzuki bottom end but couldnt find any, have you got any that show it??

Another thing is, does the motor uv got have a forged crank?? that also makes this even more interesting :P

Cheers

Mark

The crank end that takes the mini primary gear will be in its normal place, the spacer alloy you mention is there to fill the gap that is left when the primary gear is in its correct position, so no need to worry

and yes the Swift GTI has forged crank and con rods :P

I can probably get some if you really want, but it may have to wait till the engine comes off the box next.

Tomorrow i should be getting another 2 quotes for the crank end. So will have to see what they say
Then if its alright ill be getting the first one made :w00t: and then i can progress with welding the flanges in place etc.
