You get out and push! There is no room at all in the engine bay to add the reverse motor like the Z Car kits. Darren has used his yellow mini for 2 yrs so far with no problems

there is the potential of a reverse gear option for the future, we've got a gearbox specialist on the case so it'll be a propper 1! but obviously costs will go up accordingly.

speaking from personal experience and not just because im building them but you dont need a reverse you just have to think about where you are parking etc.

what is the weight difference between the a-series and these R1 units?

also, can other bike units be bolted into the frame or would you require alterations to fit a 'busa engine say?

glad your keeping the 10s lee, 10s rock!

Jesus, theres so much room in there you could put another engine in!! Or a supercharger!! :proud:

I was just thinking how much space there was. Looks a very neat kit... now whats the deal with reverse... only joking ;D

It will be a real surprise at the lights. It would be good to see what else you have changed / modified with the car. Like brakes, suspension, electrics so dreamers like me can see what is involved in a total conversion...

Its kits like this that make you wish for a phone call from the tax man saying he had calculated your tax wrong for you working life and he now owes you big time :( until then I will have to dream about it...zzzzzzz

i really wanty one of these.

oh well, maybe in a few years when ive got about £5000 to spend.

it does looks very neat, im liking it a lot. looks like a lot less work involved to fit than the z cars too. hopefully.

whats the point in reverse anyway? if that was my car i'd want it to go forward not backwards.

lol =D

apart from turning the rad around and the loom and tarty bits no mods have been done i believe. it uses standard driveshafts just on opersite sides, normal subframe mounts, the mini slave clyinder which can be adjusted.

it really is a basic kit. i think lee said it was a :) to get in but thats only cause it pokes through about a 1 cm into the grill.
