There was a company selling replicas of the P700s at castle combe, £45 a pair, but worth every penny.
Looks mint pete. Love the wellers, just needs lowering a little and a nice backbox now.
10s would finish it off but it does look (enter jamie oliver) "Pukka"
Cheers Pie! I can't really lower it any more, the tyres hit the front arches on full lock and the rear tyres hit the top of the arch when I have passengers in the back! It's about as low as I could get it without compromising driveability. It is my daily driver after all Ooh and I've got a stainless RC40 millenium system to go on, but it's still at home in Scotland. I'll be bringing it down in August when I go up.

Looks great, love it, Retro seems to be the way to go nowadays (which i'm glad of).. and you've managed to do it without making it look like everyother 'retro treatment ' car out there.
This car stands out from the crowd for it's Unique styling touches and it's professional finish.
thanks! I really tried hard to make it look different to anything else, which is actually suprisingly difficult whilst keeping it looking good!

Front panel looks 'inkeeping' aswell now its all in one colour. I'd be tempted get some smart rear mudflaps to finish it off, reckon it'd look ace.

SHE'S FINALLY PAINTED!!!!
Got it in the garage 5:30 am Saturday morning, got it stripped, prepped and finished painting it at 12 midnight!
Came in 7:00 am Sunday, got it polished and built up by 9:00 pm! For two days I lived on bourbon biscuits, water and paint fumes..
But hey, it's done now (the bodywork at least) and I'm pretty happy with it. I'm a bit annoyed because the guy who put the tyres on the wheels put the weights on the outside.. even though I asked him not too. Must paint them black, won't be so obvious hopefully.
In the end, it cost me £60 including materials and use of premises! Not half bad methinks! It's Flame Red, I used mega cheap commercial vehicle paint, which was actually suprisingly good, and called in a few favours!
Anyways, I hope you like.
Pete
Stripped
In booth, prepped and masked
2.5 litres of paint later...
Building up
FINISHED!!
Peep mirror! actually meant for a veedub beetle but I modified it to fit!
Numberplate bolts I got from America (£39 for two ) LED's "eminate" out of the sides.
Do you have a colour code for the flame red paint?
