Hey, I've not got much done on the ol' min recently bodywork wise due to moving out of my flat and being skint, >

BUT I had an mpi cylinder head and an ultimate engine steady off stickycreambun (thankyou sir) and all the stuff to fit it so I thought I'd get on and do it today!

The old head was leaded and it was a pain in the arse putting redex in every time I filled up! I'm not sure If I'll get any power increase over the MG head, I drove it after and it seems exactly the same so I'm not bothered really

Anyway here's a few moderately interesting pics.

Okay. Update time. Still not got her painted... BUT I've done the wheels and arches!

Excuse the C**p pic quality, I forgot the camera and took em on my phone.

I decided to go for steel 12/5.5 weller wheels, got em off confused, but they were a bit rough and I don't like white wellers anyway, so I gave them a bit of a refurb! I'm going with group 2 narrow arches, which'll have the chrome strip running along the edge and along the sill. I got mine from minispares, but I was unhappy with the hole for the seams in the front arches, it was far too big and looked a bit stupid so I fibreglassed it up and made my own much smaller holes which fits perfectly

I have also made a bit of a decision regarding the colour of the car. It's getting changed.. but it's a secret so wait and see (it's gonna look ACE)
