maybe a stupid question but thinkin of gettin fibreglass doors, nice a light...
anyone with any info? are they legal for the road? anyone with bad experience with them?? just interested with any info please...

afaik they are road legal, although i have heard that at higher speeds they tend to bow out and can be a little on the leaky side of things!!

Any that are built strongly enough to be mounted on hinges, opened and closed several time a day using the conventional door furniture, hold a window that you can actually open and not just turn inside out if anyone crashes into you or you hit anything will actually weigh more than steel doors do. Truly lightweight GRP doors are for race cars. They aren't designed to be opened much if at all, hold a webbing mesh instead of a window and are designed with having a proper roll cage behind them very much in mind. To be road legal the doors have to open and close properly.

But be aware that aluminium is quite a bit softer than steel, so the doors will be much more suseptible to car park dints!!

there some on Ebay i seen for sale, thonk there about £20.00 that was yestoday i seen them too.
