Anybody know the original colour for a 1997 MPI mini roof please?

I've got a cherry red pearl mini thirty and have the paint ready to go on, starting on the roof, does anyone know if the base / primer should be white or grey?

Trying to decide from looking at some of the restore kind on tmf and think grey, but looking for some clarification before screwing up

Have just bought a yellow 1976 mini 850, it's yellow but I'm pretty sure it's faded and I'm wondering if it's likely to be 'snapdragon yellow' or if they came in any other colours that year?

Hi all I don't suppose anyone has the paint code for a Southern Electricity van/car? They did a green colour in the 80's on the vans. Does anyone no where I can get this code?

ive got an austin morris mini 1981 and i cant work out what colour it is as on the plate the numbers suposed to be on its blank! i think it might be pageant blue...maybeany ideas?

this could possibly be Nightwitch blue?

Your Mini is the same color as mine. Mine is an '82 Mini 1000HL and it's Paint code is JND....Nautilus Blue! Awesome color!

Indeed, same as mine... incidentally, you have it listed here as BLVC428 but it's actually BLVC470 I am lead to believe

Tom has your 1976 got a single bolt front subframe like your 1980 -or a twin bolt front subframe?

IF it's got a twin bolt subframe it's a late Mk3 & should have been Harvest Gold (BLVC 19). Mk4 cars (built May 1976 on) were Sandglow like leyland73s Clubman.
