We are from Oz and have a 63 English Van, and are finding it hard to find any Early English paint Colour/Codes..We are thinking of painting the Mini Porcelain Green. Did 63 Vans come in "Porcelain Green" ??. Does anyone have any pic's of a Mini painted Porcelain Green, that you could post on here?

Here is a great link for anyone with an Australian built mini.
http://www.ozcooper....paint_codes.htm
The colours should be the same as UK and elsewhere but the years will be different.
Mine is Neutral Grey, shade number 08450

Thanks Nobbies for the reply.....We already have the Colour charts for Austrialian Mini's :)....The Question we are asking is about ENGLISH MINI"S as our van is a private import from England, so we would like to know if 63 ENGLISH VANS came Porcelain Green.
As you said in your post the colours should have been the same wether we are talking Austrailain or English Colours...But the years may be different...
Again that is why we are trying to find out what colours 63 ENGLISH Vans came in.
Ps. your mini looks great..

Ok, try this one: http://mk1-performan...paint_chips.htm
Not sure if you would be looking at the Van/Pick Up section or the 1963 section. Either way, porcelain green doesn't seem to appear on these.
Good luck!
Thanks for the complement.
P.S. My name is Andy, Noobies is a title both you and I share on the forum as we haven't posted many things.

Hi Andy,
Sorry about your Name, in the last post :)..
Thank you for the link. As you said Porcelain Green does not seem to be there
Not sure if I really like the green that is on the colour chart, so "Derrik" the 63 van may just have to put up with Porcelain green :)..
We have a few Mini's but no Green one's,
Where about are you in NSW???,As we travel around NSW a bit :)
Again that you for the link

Hi Peter and Karen
No worries.
Although it might not be an original colour, Porcelain green is a winner!
I am on the Central Coast, about 90 mins North of Sydney.

Hi Robert
Take a look in the 1967 paint chip book on the link as per the below post.
There is a colour on there called Snowberry White.
Could this be it?

Hello,
I Need help in choosing the right paint for my restoration project. I'm Restoring an 89' Austin Mini and would like it to look like the red 500 register sport mini. I found several red paints that i can use like Solar, Cannibar, and Flame Red. Please advise the code of the red in the picture attached, which I like the most. Thank you Peeps!
