They removed everything else down to a bare shell, completely prepped and sprayed the car, including the arches, and fitted new seam covers at the same time, then put it all back together.
The shell was solid, but the old paint had to be completely removed to avoid reacting with the two-pack, and I can't find a blemish on the entire car, its spot on.
For that work the price was AMAZING - I would recommend Minimine to anybody, they really know what they're talking about, Nick and the lads are great people, and their work is top notch.
I paid just over £700 for the work, and its worth every penny.

I know you got the engine from morspeed, did you get it all fitted or just get it delivered. I was thinking about ordering a head from them, but I would have to send off my current head wouldnt I.

Not quite all, I'd estimate about 99.7%ITs coming along nicely, you must be spending all your dosh on it!

I bought the engine as a built unit then fitted it myself, I think Simon does do fitting but he's usually really busy so doesn't find time to do it - as regards heads, he does them on a surchage/exchange basis as Will said, whereby you order the head, he sends it and charges you the surcharge, then refunds the surcharge once he recieves your old head (at least I think thats how it works!)
Thanks for the comments everyone, its slowly getting there now. Here's a pic of it all rebuilt, just got to get the stripes back on it:
And here's a dark broody pic that I just kinda like
Am going into the peaks with my mate soon to get some proper pics of it, and its going on the rollers again on the 25th January to get it optimized ready for the summer

Won't be going to Stafford, but should be going to a few of shows over the summer so I'm sure I'll see it sometime.. :grin:Thanks Sam! Makes it all worthwhile when someone says something like that - if you're going to Bingley Hall you can have a nose round then, if not then it'll be around and about this summer I hope!
And ofcourse BH2N

So its about finished now.
Just a couple more things on the agenda, a gearbox rebuild and 4-pin diff mid february time, and I'll check the condition of the mains and fit a new oil pump then too.
Its got a couple of little bits and bobs that need sorting, its got replacement pot joints on at the moment which I'm not overjoyed with (so i'll put the OE ones back on), and the steering column makes an annoying squeal when being turned, which I know is because the bottom felt bush is dry. So i'll lubricate that, oh and one of the glass covers on the 1275GT clocks is rattling, which is annoying me. So apart from those 5 minute jobs I'd say Winston is pretty much done.
All I need to do now is regular servicing (might do an FAQ on that at some point) and greasing etc.
Job done

Can i ask one thing? how wide are your wheels and do the A032Rs look a little stretched? (im unsure on mine if they are stretched or not)
