aye the lights will be coming off but they need to stay on for the drive there. Same applies to the arches etc.

oh yeah, sorry! They'll be coming off and sprayed seperately from the main shell, then refitted at the end.

Got it there safe this morning, only froze a little bit on the 40 mile journey there, but my mate following in his Type-R said he couldn't keep up round the islands, which was nice

Anyway, roll on 3 weeks time.

Just got to get my A032's put on the wheels now, and jobs a good un'.

just found these pics of it on the rollers as well...on my birthday the 30th August - 2 days before we left on the BH2N run...(thanks minipixie!)

(yes I know that rollers aren't accurate when they're converted for flywheel figures - but it was still nice to know it was over 100 on the scale!)

Mate, I love that clubby, reminds me of my dads old one a little.

100bhp has to be a great figure to break on the rollers, it must have been one of lifes more satisfying moments!

It was a pretty scary moment! I was just watching the needle climbing and feeling the car straining on the rollers...but when it broke 100bhp I was well chuffed!

Am still not happy with the R/R set up though, I'm taking it to see AC Dodd sometime in february, he should be able to extract a bit more from it

Ordered the A032's a minute ago, £35 each! Couldn't believe my ears, they only had 4 in stock too, so I was lucky

Just got to get them swapped now, I was surprised at how many wheels and tyres a Polo would hold!:

Well, the spray job is done! Minimine in Stoke have done really well, it was only dropped off last tuesday! So I'm going to collect it on saturday, I haven't actually seen it yet, but I've a mate who has, and he says its looking pretty good, so fingers crossed.

I also need everyone to do a no-more-rain dance for saturday, because I'll be driving it the 40 odd miles home with no glass in, and if its raining it really won't be comfortable :fear: So please everyone, wish for no rain! :w00t:

Oh, and I found these at work:

After my mate and I hitting our heads on the roll cage at the 'Ring (we were wearing helmets, thats the reason they make people with roll cages wear helmets!), I thought some roll cage padding would be good. So I found these wrapped around a frame, and thought 'i'll have them', so I did :smartass:

I've also ordered some more 'Clubman 1293' stripes from Idle Gear, and another Nurburgring sticker for the back end, so hopefully it'll all be up to standard by the end of the weekend! Oh, and of course I've got the A032's to go on too

(and yeah minimadjonesy, some parts of it still live on! )
