I want to refresh the engine bay, as well as change some of the routing of wires etc to be a bit tidier internally. As well as that it needs two new doors, as the ones that are on it were only ever meant to be temporary and they've been on since 2005! Its also got a couple of tiny rust bubbles coming through on the N/S A-panel, and a rather nasty rust patch constantly growing on the bottom of the O/S A-panel. Also, on the front wings where I've drilled them for arches, rust has got under the paint and is beginning to bubble - the cure for that is going to be proper riv-nuts with stainless bolts - it'll also look neater having cap-head bolts holding the arches on.
Oh yeah, and its been 2 years since I did anything proper to it so I'm getting itchy fingers
Oh, and the electric supercharger, I was going to fit one anyway! Should be worth at least 50bhp when combined with the ITB's and shiny valve caps

You need to work where I do! I quite often come home with stainless M4 riv-nuts and M4 cap screws in my pockets!
I've also got a load of L163 aluminium sheet for general mini bracketry in the garage
Not to mention a shed load of AN fasteners! theft does pay!

Oooh, I don't suppose there's any chance of some of these riv-nuts and cap-heads accidently jumping in an envelope on its way to Derbyshire at some point in the future is there?
(for research and development purposes of course )
yeah mate, or I'll just take some to Combe (if that's not too late)??? I'm easy either way, lemme know sizes and quantities and I'll see what I can sort out.

I eventually started my own X16 project in May. Engine is in with driveshafts on so feels like I'm getting somewhere slowly but surely. Its the SBD throttle bodies which are going to drag it out a bit I think. 2k! Crikey!!
