And secondly I'm not going to reveal too much apart from to say that assuming negotiations go well the calipers might not be the last thing made by KAD to be fitted to my car......

The car is running! All back together, couple of teething problems which I'll explain tomorrow, and I'll get some pics - but lets just say its good fun again, the gearbox is so much nicer, I can engage first!

Here's a pic of the engine bay, the oil cooler pipes will be done tomorrow so I can get that plumbed in:
The problem I had yesterday was the O/S driveshaft kept popping out of its pop joint, resulting in a total loss of drive, meaning it had to be towed for the first time since I've owned it It was my fault, I didn't fit a new spring clip when I had the chance too. Anyway, I split the ball joints, removed the hub and fitted a new clip (had loads in stock), and job was a good'un. The KAD brakes are settling in nicely, got them quite warm yesterday during progresive braking, they seem to be biting well, if slightly spongey...No other problems to report apart from a minor oil leak, but I think I know what that is, so its all good.
Here's a pic of it taken in the lights of my other car last night, didn't have time to wash it after the rebuild so its a bit dirty, but its finished
Oh yeah, and I'm running it on the HIF44 until after the Riviera Run. AC Dodd is hopefully RR'ing it on the 10th May, so I'll fit the twins with stub stacks just before then, to ensure I don't do long term damage by running it un-set-up.
