wow, thanks for all the kind comments everyone! Like I said before, it makes it worthwhile when people say good things about your car, so everything said is appreciated! ;D

The gearbox is away being sorted now, and I've ordered some of the stuff thats going to go on, still got some big stuff to order (like the twin 1.5" SU's with ITG filter and stub stacks :P). I've also decided to make the engine look a bit tartier, so am in the process of doing that.

But today I was dead busy.....guess what I did......

I drilled a hole and moved the washer bottle! Yay! Lots of progress

Oh, and I cleaned the engine bay up, removed some of the roll cage and took dash and centre console out, ready to wire in the electric fan and do some other work under there - so more progress.

Oh, and what is it with me and deadlines!? First I just manage to get it ready for BH2N, now I've got about 3 weeks to get it rebuilt and rolling roaded on the twin's, in time to make it to the Riviera Run! Oh well, nowt like a bit of pressure :D

Ah so thats where you went while I was talking to you earlier! Twin Su's will look very nice on yours tom. Do you trecon there will be much of a performance increase considering the stub stacks and the state of tune?
And is it going to AC Dodd this time too?

Lol, MSN was playing up, kept sending messages back undelivered ;D

I should notice an improvement in mid-range torque and power (which will be useful!), as well as a marked improvement in throttle response. They're brand new and If I tune them correctly first off I shouldn't have any problems with them becoming unbalanced :P

And yep, its going to AC Dodd, should give good results. I'm hoping for roughly 100 genuine HP at the crank.

Just spent a load more bloody money!

Twin carbs, KC Filtration kit, stud set, new plugs, new coil, new clutch plate and diaphragm, throttle and choke cables for the twin carbs, braided pipe for the oil cooler, uprated head stud set - loads of money!

Oh well, it'll be worth it ;D

lol, I wouldn't go as far as to say the ultimate Clubby, i'm just building it to my dream specification, slowly but surely :D

CAU998, the lights are proudly fitted to the back of the car, I don't know what you meant about them being a bit scabby, they're far better than the ones I took off! ;D

(oh yeah, and you don't know what I've done with the engine yet.....mwahahaha!)

Don't tempt me! I've already been looking at my finances for these, but its not going to be possible for another couple of months, gutted! It would look soooo much better on those wheels though!

Took a couple more pics of the oil cooler fitment today, should be quite neat once I've got the engine in place and sussed out where the various pipes are going to go:

Not long until the engine and 'box are back together now, and back in the car. Pretty much everything else is ready to go back in. Yay!
