Hope you can help if any one here has a mini with the 3as alarm (the one with a single button on the remote not two) if poss could you post a pic of the wiring connector on the alarm ecu behind the dash please.Reason is while working on wy mini one of the wires (green with red stripe) popped out of the plug and i,m not sure which hole it came out off!
I know the wire only controls the indicators flashing on when arming and disarming the alarm and i don,t use the alarm anyway i just don,t want to bugger anything up by plugging it in the wrong place. If noone can help i may just leave it out and tape it up to be safe! Thanks for any help much appreciated

Sorry mate i dont have any information of that system, cant seem to find it. Surely its a simple matter of matching it up with the empty terminial? or is there more than one?

What year of car is it by the way?

The car is a 1994 cooper with the 3as alarm system with only one button on the remote. I have searched the internet and found very little info on this system (prob not supprising as it is now very old) The wire is to flash the inicators when setting the alarm and also comes live when switiching on rh indicators and hazzards. I think i have it in the correct place as the wire seemed to bend towars that area as it had been for prob 12 years and every thing seems to work ok.It does have other spare holes whic i believe activates centrel locking etc on other rover models if fitted. but i don,t use the alarm anyway as the batt in the remote is flat and is does not passive rearm itself as i believe the 5as system does so can manage without. Do you think i could use a 3as system from a metro etc if i could find one with fobs in a breakers as you have told me before that my mne 101070 ecu is not coded?manny thanks
