First of all, the MPI ignition barrel i need for when i put the airbag wheel on as i need the mpi steering column to fit the wheel... (cheers baggy33minis)
And speaking of the mpi steering column, that received this morning, complete with indicator stalks.
I need to remove the 360 degree airbag ring as that's not needed anymore.
And this is how everything should look when it's all fitted up.
Just need to go to the scrapyard and get the wiring plugs from an MGF for the indicator and wiper stalks.
Also, anyone have any idea where the horn buttons wire up to on thse steering wheels? I have looked but can't find the wiring plugs
Also need to order a new steering colum surround from minispares.
Comments welcome

Heres some from the camera...
Old sill off
New sill on with a few patches here and there, didn't really warrant a new floor section
A few patches on the drivers footwell
Rear valance off prior to cleaning up and the odd patch, but most important of all, the subframe still looks brand new, which is a relief! (notice the cobwebs on the backbox, shows how long it's been there )
Old n/s arch out
New arch in
Boot area was then cleaned up and given a couple of coats of chassis black paint
Scuttle panel in
Inner arches were then cleaned up to get rid of a bit surface rust, then given a couple of coats of chassis black
Then the front end has been put on
And how it's currently sitting, just needs the backs of the wings welded to the front panel and then another few bits and pieces. (by the way, that's not my bonnet, i'm buying a brand new one, that's one of the ones Jimmy has lying round so he could line the wings etc up)
The rest of the pics are here...

The 5th M&C is On. The event takes place at its usual home of Rosedale Caravan Park, in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park starting on Friday 27th June and finishing on Sunday 29th. This event is open to both classic and new Mini, but traditionally the event has been dominated by classic mini variants of all shapes and sizes!
The M&C is a Mini navigational event, taking you on a mystery tour on some of the very best scenic and twisty roads around the North York Moors and probably some of the best roads in England. There are two parts to the event over two days. The first event is the M&C Treasure hunt which takes place on Saturday 28th. The Hunt is usually an 80 mile challenge where driver and navigator using pace notes have to find answers and solve clues. The crew with the most correct answers and lowest mileage wins the M&C Trophy. A lot of time and careful planning goes into the hunt. We try and take you via places of interest and natural beauty, including plenty of stops for a picnic, a cup of tea, or a full lunch which ever takes your fancy. You’ll soon appreciate why the event is named the rollercoaster mini tour, as you tackle rolling hills, steep climbs, watersplashes, and hairpin bends, coupled with outstanding scenery, the M&C is a magical tour.
The second event is the Moorland Tour and takes place on Sunday 29th. Traditionally, Minis set off together and head for the coast, via The North Riding Forest Park, capturing once again some of the very best scenic countryside along the route. It’s a good days driving, Northernminis style. For the last 4 years the M&C route has been virtually unchanged. That’s about to change, as we have a new routemaster, who has previously put together some excellent mini runs over the Yorkshire Dales and Moors. As details develop for the Sunday Tour, we shall post these up on the site, but be rest assured you won’t be disappointed.
When we are not out driving, we will have our own field down in the Meadow at Rosedale. There will be the usual Northernminis Raffle, and a chance for you to vote for your favourite Mini, apart from your own, on the event. There will be over 80 Minis all camping together, so it’s a good chance to have a look around, meet up with other owners, have a Barbie and chill out in Rosedale Valley.

It's being delivered back to my garage tomorrow around lunch time!
Excited isn't the word. I'll take lots of pics and i think this weekend will be spent sorting the wiring loom's out.
