I also bought a new horn as the one i had was a bit dubious and didn't seem to work very well when i took it off the car when i first started all the work on the car. It's bloody loud too, i love it!
As i was hunting around in the garage, i also found a set of standard tail light lenses as the smoked ones weren't very in keeping with the look of the car, so fitted those.
Anyway, last pics of the car tonight before it's MOT in the morning!

At the MOT place...
And the bit i'm interested in....
The drive up was awesome, for some reason, it was much more enjoyable than i was expecting! The engine pulled very strong, the gearbox was alright, a bit stiff now and again, but on the whole was fine and pretty damn quick too, much faster than i thought it would have been.
Tuesday can't come quick enough to get the cover note!

It's over fueling like a *woman of ill repute* and desperatley needs the mixture and timing set up, also needs the fuel tank issue sorted, but it was so good to get back behind the wheel of the car again. I'm glad it's every bit as fun as i remembered it to be.
I took the oppourtunity to get some pics of it too, just stayed local, but there's a big open park that used to be a quarry (Herrington Park - Radio 1 had it's first 'Big Weekend' there a few years back) and it was empty, wasn't ideal as the fog was starting to set in and light fading pretty quick, but still managed to get some half decent ones.
Here are some of them
Rest are here....

Whislt i'm typing this, i might aswell do a tiny update, go the new bonnet badge through the post today...
Should hide the original bonnet badge mounting points in the bonnet. This one should be mounted using two lugs with metal clips, but as i'm not keen on drilling the new bonnet, i'll chop them off with the dremel and just stick the badge on.

Where did you get hold of the stainless coil bracket and bonnet catch?
