I have been at it all week for an hour or so a day and just re fitted the gear linkage, all the relevant plumbing, and re made an alloy handbrake cable braket as my cable was a bit too short to be honest .
Refitted the rear duct hoses before i start fitting the bulkhead around them tomorrow, i havnt bothered with any pics as it doesnt look like much but willl hopefully have some pics up after the weekend.

cheers

well its coming together slowly.

Fitted the rear frame in properly now and also bolted the bulkhead sides in aswell.
All plumbing now done and reconnected except for the header tank which im trying to conceal under the hump.
Wrapped all the exhaust manifold and system to reduce the heat hopefully and refitted it all with new seal rings from suzuki.
Started running all the instrumantation wiring down one side for the stack dash and added a capiliary gauge aswell so fitted a braided hose and fitting for that in to the main oil gallery.

I have also replaced the rose joints in the chain tensioner as there was some play in them

I got to clean and refit the throttle bodies now befor i go any further with the bulkhead as this will only restrict me later.

I got to start doing the wiring loom now so i can get it running again.

cheers

Well maybe, i am going to make the loom up at the weekend and hopefully get it running next week.
I will be at cadwell either way.
Have you got any pics of the fibreglass racer yet? or the new Zcars airbox as i have already got the duct pipes fitted ready and it would be easier to fit whilst it is still in peices.
I havnt done much on the weight reduction side as cash doesnt allow att he moment but i reckon there is more improvement to be made in my driving than in the machinery at the moment!!!

cheers

Hi, looks good. Are they brackets from the boot lid hinges to the frame? If so do they strengthen the shell up well and did you make them yourself? Also how much exhaust wrap do i need to buy and what widths please. I'm getting the same manifold as you. Sorry for all the questions. I just really need to get mine done now.

Well the brackets are from zcars as they made them when they made the system for me, it does brace the back of the shell really well along witht he braces to the B post.
You will need about 20meteres of 2" wide wrap to do it properly, i bought a 30m roll and got less than half left.

cheers

Ok thanks for the reply. I'll get on the case to z cars for some brackets along with the exhaust system. They look real nice.
