The roof had to be changed due to a dodgy sunroof that had been fitted years ago, there were no replacement seals available for it and it leaked like a sive so this was the best option and I don't have to paint it

Thanks for your comments and every one else for that matter. its a labour of love really and over the years of playing with Minis I have always maintained a have a go attitude and often tell others to have a go as well, you will be amazed what YOU can do if you really want to. This is the only Mini I have restored without a finnal look in mind. The whole thing so far is still under the price of a new shell!!!

Also managed to finish off the doors with new alloy skins...super light now
