Fair enough fella!! You're one lucky sod, all those lovely new parts, lol!! ;)

I am indeed very lucky to have my hobby and passion as my job as well...althought I don't buy everything from Moss! I will get shot for saying that...lol I am also very Lucky I can weld and paint other wise this project would have been a non starter.
I usually advise other people to have a go them selves but do understand not every body can do this kinda thing. I am just tight with money lol and hate to see other get ripped off. I have been messing with Mini's now for over 20 years now and it a great feeling when you can past on sound advise to others thats gonna save them a few quid..I love that feeling :withstupid:

Yeah, I know what you mean! I'm 23 nearly 24 and have been playing with mini's for nearly 6 years, no where near your 20, but hey, got to start somewhere eh! I've almost completed my first major rebuild! I started with a mini that was my first that I've had sat in a garage for years and have put a new fron end, a panel, door skin, bulkhead repairs, outer sills, inner sill repairs (wish I'd just fitted inner sills now), rear valence and repairs to both rear quaters. Now I've just completed my first ever full respray in jet black and rover storm grey metallic roof/bonnet stripes, just in the process of retrimming the interior, new cobra classic seat set and door cards, new newton commercial underlay and delux moulded carpets, new headlining (never again!) new alloys and more bits and pieces that I forget!

I also have my track day mini that I'm building. That's been on-going for nearly 4 years on and off!

Made some changes to the roller I made... It was a static roller! it now moves as well as rolls  still rubbing down at the mo then some colour can go on:gimme: did a dummy fit of the roof last night and it fits perfect now

Awsome welding!
Any pictures of the rolling tilter, how it mounts to the chassis, and measurement/estimate for the centre of rotation (up from the floor probably best)?
This would be a great help, as i'm just making a tilter at the moment.

I will sort some photos out later for ya... dead easy to make! however my disign will only work with a flip front type car and not one with inner wings! The front mount is across the two upper shocker mounts and the back mount is across the rear shocker mount on the wheel arch then its just two A frame with an old set of axle stands welded to it :dontgetit: :P

You've made this look easy, my god it must have been a task, i gave up on my last one and that was half the task you've had with yours. Look forward to seeing it finished!
