go for it man it's never too late to make a start...I said at the beginning of this project it would be my last rebuild (because I am old...lol) however after driving this car and the response it gets from people where ever I go in it I suddenly remembered why I love Mini...now planning the next one when I have moved out of my current house to a new one...keep the great marques alive man!
wait till you see my next project MOWHAAAAAAAAAA

but...
i believe it was dynojet that measured a front engined R1 mini as 170bhp at the wheels littttttlee bit generous i think.
159.3 @ wheels, mmmmm lurvley!
