i sold the mini and rebuilt a mini marcos was bloody good fun and was nippy as my 1340 motor was putting out 103bhp so it had great power to weight.. but i decided to sell it as i wanted to go back to the good old mini.. which im on with at the moment! and iv been looking for somethin special enginewise to put in it and i herd on the grape vine about the moss supercharger but i didnt know it fit under the bonnet with no bulk head mods!! so now im very interested! with you saying it will fit! was gona wait till march for on of those alloy 7port heads come out from med but now im drawn to the blower!! what head have you got on yours or have you used a decompression plate?

just stumbled on your topic, bloody ell i remember you working at minisport as being the really sound one that didnt wear a wife beater all the time like the rest of them!! was i warm in there or somethin? haha i did wonder where you went!! someone did mention you went to moss but iv never been over to moss to have a gander. you might remember my first mini i came up a couple of times and showed it you, it was a bronze yellow with a quad pod on the bonnet with a old english white roof on 10's i was only a youngen back then but were very helpfull at minisport which i think it lacks now. i must add very impressed with the shell that no mean feet!! bloody hard work repanneling a mini from anythin past the front end.. lol

Hiya pal of course I remember you… how you doing. Yeah I went back to Moss after working there for 2 year which was interesting to say the least! The S/C kit we are developing is in the USA at present having my changes made so it’s bomb proof. I use the Midget kit on my car which works really well but we need to change a few things to it fit on a Standard Mini fitted with an LCB… no decompression plate or any thing else will be required! My engine build is a little special so I can’t really compare it with a standard engine! Before the charger was fitted it gave a very good 115 BHP at the flywheel which isn’t bad for a N/A road car. The head is a full race miglia job. The yanks just sent me an upgrade kit for my install which has taken my install to just under 10 psi so it’s getting close to the limit with out cool charging or looking at an intercooler.
Moss have a huge reputation through out the classic car industry to uphold so we have to make sure that a product is absolutely spot on before we launch that why you want really here anything about a supercharger kit from Moss other than an informal chat on here with me! But what I will say is there are some very unique features on the Moss kit that nobody else has! These have taken ages to calculate and are very costly but will insure an installation of our kit is very easy and very safe to use. Things like this take time to get right but its better we damage our own cars working thing through than yours…lol
