I'm just in the final stages of selling my present weekend car (96 impreza turbo) as it has cost me a lot of money this year for not alot of use so am selling up to get my new project under way.
And that's why I'm here.
My plan is to build myself an R1 powered Z-cars Mini. and as luck would have it there is currently a project of that title going on on this site.
So if anyone has an old Mini I could use as a donor I'll be after one in the next couple of weeks!!
To say I'm looking forward to this is somewhat of an understatement!! I acting like a ten year on Christmas eve
It'll be a nice change to not have to spend a fortune on parts!

Thanks for the welcome. I'll definataley keep a photo diary when I get started as I want to be able to remember the project when it's done.
I have got a few pictures of my Scooby how do I post them? It was a bit quick (ran a 13.2sec quarter mile) but I'm looking forward to the fun aspect of the Mini

change it to JPEG and then click on the browse button at the bottom of the reply box and select the JPEG image you want to put up then click on it and it will appear in the box then press send and providing the impage is small enough it will send.

I used to spend quite a bit of time on Scoobynet there are some very handy people on there. Got lots of bargain too. If all goes according to plan though the Mini will cost in total less than I spent on Mods for the Scoob......
I'll deffo miss the old girl was deffo plenty of fun the antilag particularly was always entertaining.
