What's the difference between GAZ and Spax? Besides colour and price.
The reason why I'm asking it, is that I'm now busy deciding which one I would buy. My parts store is offering GAZ GT dampers for a very nice price (50% summer discount)
So do I go for the smashing discount offer, or do I go for the more expensive Spax?

can someone tell would i be better of with gaz or spax,
i have been on the phone to mini spares and they gaz should be fine for what i am looking for.
But the thing i have heard is that gaz corrode quicker because they are not powered coated like spax.

ive got spax adj all round and id rate them really high, set them up as david vizard says in his book... for track fairly hard at the front and pretty soft at the back, but if u wanted for for rally use the same but a bit harder at the back i think. im sure that what it says in his book ill double check and get back to ya.
i dont think either shocks will be much worse than each other there about the same price.... anyone on here owned both?

didnt realise this thread was so old sorry... ill look at the dates next time lol!
There's no drama in resurrecting an old thread if it's relevant (which it will be to someone --> and you had a relevant question too!)
Better to use an old thread than start a new one with the same questions I recon.
