hey,

i have been on the look for a set of ATS classics for the past few days and during my ebay searching i have come across some rather nice looking cobra TC superslots which i have never seen before although they do look very similar to them wolfrace slot style wheels. But i have a problem thw wheels have a diameter of 13" buit only a depth of 5.5inch which is no good to me, but i remeber some one mentioning on here that you could get wolfrace superslots widened in a split rim kind of style, ot banded, and i was just woundering if any one would be able to let me know what the situation would be on this? or if there would be any where wehere i could send the wheels to get banded.

Thanks, Tomm

so that would be the price of the wheels plus £240...

that would be easily over £300, I could pick up a set of ATS calssics for that...

Thanks though!

Would any one know where i can get some standard stellies widened please?

Banding wheels is illegal, for the millionth time! You cannot widen steelies, the only way of widening alloys is to turn them into splits. (obviously)

I knew this debate would start haha and i wasnt to sure if i sould bring it up BUT! Last thing i heard was that there was no legislation (sp) that said banded steelies were ilegal ther were just not advised. Iver at club polo where widened steelies are a lot more common they said that there was no law saying that they were illegal and that it is purely drivers discresion if they want to use them or not, I know a fair few people on here have gone through MOTs and police checks with no problems...

That may be, but it is illegal to produce them, so you wont find many people willing to do it.
