The RoCam (Zetec, Sigma or now called Duratec) 1.6 is a solid, high torque engine, fitted in the UK for the SportKa and StreetKa giving 95bhp. I've got a SportKa SE myself and it flies! It pulls all the way to the rev-limiter and tops out at around 115mph at 6,000rpm. Mines got a K&N and a centre stainless exhaust system. The IB5 gearbox is also sweet and tweaked for SportKa by Getrag, so it's strong and close ratio. The RoCam is a good compact base engine but not willing to rev. I've seen the 1.6 turbo'd in Brazil pushing 175bhp!! I'd opt for the 1.6 Zetec SE engine which is much revvier, around 100bhp stock and easily tuneable to 130-150 with cams, exhaust and induction systems or the VCT 1.7 Puma engine at 125-155bhp. The works team Fiesta rally cars are 220bhp!!
