as a responsible adult would you put something on the road that has been welded together by a 18 year old? :dozing:

What!> An 18 year would be perfectly able to weld as long as they practiced, just the same way as a 40 year old would produce a C**p weld if they didn't practiced.

Good luck with the project mate, looks interesting.

The welds look ok to me. You might have to junk those drums tho :dozing:

the subframe is out of a mondeo. the problems we had with it being so big is the suspension. we managed to obtain some super cool tvr suspension. might just be able to see it in some of the pictures? we have moved on alot since these pictures were taken so i will take some more to see what you all think.

If its mondeo subframe cant you replace the zetec with a V6? :lol: :lol:

trying to keep costs down. i think with a turbo and a load of nitrous we will be able to get more power and save weight. aiming to keep it below 800kg power to weight and all but i know what you meen about the v6... they do sound awsome. :proud:

great work so far guys (taz).
This is the place to make your self at home, have a good look at the z-cars guys section, they are very knowlegdeable and invaluable to us here on tmf
with anything rear engined
