What!> An 18 year would be perfectly able to weld as long as they practiced, just the same way as a 40 year old would produce a C**p weld if they didn't practiced.

The welds look ok to me. You might have to junk those drums tho

is it a fiesta / focus subframe mounted in rear?

the subframe is out of a mondeo. the problems we had with it being so big is the suspension. we managed to obtain some super cool tvr suspension. might just be able to see it in some of the pictures? we have moved on alot since these pictures were taken so i will take some more to see what you all think.

If its mondeo subframe cant you replace the zetec with a V6?

trying to keep costs down. i think with a turbo and a load of nitrous we will be able to get more power and save weight. aiming to keep it below 800kg power to weight and all but i know what you meen about the v6... they do sound awsome.
