I got a good finish as i had descaled the block before washing with a drill and wire brushes. The jetwashing cleaned off all the grease and oil so the paint will stick good.
Brush on stuff is a waste of time. I hate the stuff

As far as im concerned, a god paint job is just as important as good oil

Class D is forced induction transverse A series. A Super charger/ Turbo Charger is forced induction. Nitrous is not, I dont think they allow nitrous anyway, but not too sure.
Heres a glory shot

I guess you'll be mounting the alternator at the bottom, of the side of that nice plate you've made up?
MS, this is VERY interetsing stuff. That is such a good glory shot!

Me too Tim, hand painting a block gives poop results! It's a shame I did mine after I'd built it up, or I'd consider redoing it all!

Just be warned when you jetwash the block that you have plenty of compressed air available to blow down every part of the block, that includes all the small internal passages, then get it into a warm dry place straight away, else surface rust will apear in minuets on ALL the bare freshly machined surfaces. Steam clean is much better as it also heats the casting up so when you stop and blow it down with air, it drys itself.
