not much done this weekend

varnished the new door cards and kick panels to help protect them and make them passable until I sort the interior out

Posted Image

got 1 door card fitted

also replaced the LED indicators that don't show up in day light

Posted Image

they are not mini ones but very similar, just a bit flatter

been away camping

since having Izzy we have been a bed short in Dolly ???

for the last few camps she has slept on the floor under Williams cab bunk, it's a bit tight for her + her brother likes to drop toys out of his bunk on to her ::wub:

although we have a pop top we have never had any bunks up there and i have always thought they were a bit narrow (don't fancy a 4 year old falling on me at night)

so we have made him a bigger roof bunk, used the mounts from 1 bunk and 1 mount from the one the other side, this has given us a bunk 3/4's of the roof

i did the metal work and Mrs B the needle work

William the testing

now the only problem with Williams new cab bunk is it's over the cooker

Posted Image

so to stop him and his bedding smelling of bacon it had to go

Posted Image

now the only problem with that was that the monsters that live behind the fridge were free to escape

so using a few left over bits

Posted Image

the next problem was the bottom of the rock and roll bed was only a 3/4

Posted Image

so that needed converting to full width

Posted Image

it could now seat 3 so another seat belt was needed

next problem is where to put the cooker ???

Very cool mate, coming on nicely ;)

We've been camping all week all over the Uk. Was good fun, and very relaxing!

The one above is my dads friends van that we camped with. My parent's have a caravan now, although they used to have a 76 a lot yours a few years back. I'l dig out and scan some photos for you ;)

I'l be on the lookout for a van mid next year. Hoping to do some touring with them, aswell as take it to france for the Lemans and where-ever else seems fit i guess!
