I remember seeing a pic of a works mini being jacked up by a kind of trolley thing, looked like a fanstastic idea.

Great pics guys, I always find it fascinating looking how they worked in the Abingdon workshops, some of the angles of the minis are brilliant!
I remember seeing a pic of a works mini being jacked up by a kind of trolley thing, looked like a fanstastic idea.

I'm pretty sure its in one of the anniversary edition ones from 'mini magazine' Amongst a big write up on the rally minis (i think it was the 45 issue)
because my GCSE DT project was inspired by it - i tried to make a jack that was easier and quicker to use on a mini.

it was in the Miniworld 45 anniversary issue.

i tried that "fraps" program and got these....
they are from a film of the 1964 tour de France (mini cooper DVD) and show the works cars using the white stripes as identification marks.
one car has Two stripes, one has a single stripe on the left and one has a single stripe on the right.
all stripes continue on the boot lids...

make sure you get the DVD as it has more stuff on it than the Video.
if you really want boot lid stripes, idle gear sell them
