Seen as were getting some work done on it now thought we may aswell start a project page! :(
Heres some pictures of where were at so far, will get some brighter ones when it gets a bit lighter outside.

thanks for replies, the blue one is a 67' mk1 cooper, needs some welding at the back but its got to wait for the purple one to be finished! :gimme:

what colour paint(paint code, manufacturers) or where did you get paint for the purple mini?

we'll find out for you because we think the guy who we brought the shell off has a bit of paint left and we need to do a bit ourselves :gimme:

got another question for you all, does anyone know where the servo hose for the brakes attatches on the throttle bodies of the r1? been having a look round but cant see anywhere it would go?

Hi there, great looking car, love the colour something a bit different, looks like you are well on the way now.I would post in technical questions about the servo connection so z cars chris sees it, i need to know the same thing on my hayabusa engine, i cant see anywhere on the throttle bodies for the connection to go either :lol: ! good luck with the rest of the build

You need to connect the servo vacum to all 4 of the throttle bodies, you should have a small pipe coming off each one and T pieced together so you should make an adapter to get it up to the required size to connect up to the servo pipe, dont forget the one way valve as fitted to the mini servo aswell, Dont just connect it to one cylinder as this will cause an indifference in the mixture on that cylinder.

yep, stockcar racers we are :xxx: started off when i was 15 in the mini's! think thats where the mini addiction started! Will try and put up some photos from the last few weekends work later.
