[MLC bad people]

[I'd rather a smelly, rusty, unreliable little car than be in flames myself anyway!

So I still don't understand why their going after My Little Car Ltd?

So are you a BINI/BMW lover then MLC Bad People?

we have two of the smelly, rusty, unreliable things so twice the fire hazard.

trademark & design infringement plus passing off, I believe.

what car anyone drives is their own business and no one elses. I understand MLC would have gladly made their product for the BINI but naievly thought that by NOT doing so they would avoid the problems they now find themselves in. Tough

i've drove the new mini, and yeah its a good car you could say, but it is no way what so ever a real mini, which is why BMW annoyed me when they advertised it, they got like horses and lorries to look like minis by chequering them, and doing the whole red and white with stripes etc then saying, make sure you get a real mini and showed a man driving a bmw one, when theres me like, hypocrit, thats no real one, mines a real one, thats a german peice of s##t! lol

anyways, just thought i'd get that off my chest, been wanting to for ages, i still get that same feeling of er, i dunno, whenever i see one i just go all grr > you know what i mean, IMPOSTERS!

this is a great debate that has been talked about before and will no doubt be talked about again and again........ here's a question for you all, although it has nothing to do with mylittlecar, who was in control of rover when the mpi minis were designed and produced? as far as i'm aware it was with bmw's help that we had mini production continued into the new millenium, and therfore we are thankful to bmw for that. they are only protecting their business by persuing all these copyright infringements etc, doing what any business no matter how big or small they are. it is unfortunate that they appear to be 'picking' on a very small business compared to themselves, but they have done this before with people like mbm bristol and huddersfield spares etc.

Just wanted to say that I posted this topic to support My Little Car against, what I saw as overbearing, bullying tactics by BMW and to highlight why some Classsic Mini owners have an issue with BMW, not to restart the boring and tired Mini v BINI arguments.
I also have a problem with Rover selling something that many of don't believe was theirs to sell, the word mini.
