just about to get our second mini, an immaculate 1275 93 myfair in white, we'll have to keep on top of the body work on this one then!
i have only been into minis since january but am learning fast ( do not buy 10" alloy if you run standard disc brakes DOH!)
apart from 1or2 dogey mechanics in nottingham. who try to rob you by telling you somthing is nackered when its not, everyone ive encountered in the mini world has been very freindly and unpretentious. wich is a real bonus when your'e new to it all.
a word of advice to new comers, ask the holy forum before consulting your local mechanic.

Which part of Nottingham are you from, and where have found the best garages are ? (mark my better half is trying to find a decent rolling road to put the mini on and just woundered if you had heard of any good or bad stories)
Also how did you hear of the site?

I'm from beeston me sen duck how about you?
I dont know of any reccomended garages in nottingham but i would not recommend a particular garage near lady bay bridge, I' sure his name was robin , robin bas+*%d. scuse me french.
i need a good one my self at the mo to sort me suspension cones out. if you hear of any please let me know, i do know of surf blue near IKEA but I hear they are well pricey.
In answer to your ? I heard of this site through another beeston local on minifinity.
must speak again
