hi

do rental spray booths exist in the UK??? i am quite acceptable at painting, can get the paint but need a spray booth or nice big warm garage but i aint got the latter so i want to rent the former.

any ideas or would a 12ft x 24ft army tent with some heaters a dehumidifier and lined with poly sheeting and a poly covered floor be good.

after seeing the results of some guy on here who did his mini van in a gazebo i'd say you'd be ok in that as long as your not after a concourse finish? Maybe wait till the air isn't as damp though?

Im actually looking into a similar setup unless i can find a nice neighbour willing to rent me a warm garage.

concourse depends on his skill at painting, and if the surroundings are as stable as he suggest they will be, it's more than possible, damp air wont be a problem with the de-humidifyer he's looking at....

arr booths really are good for is drying the paint and getting rid of the fumes in a controlled way. we dont have £25.000 spare in work for a booth so we make do with a brick room with lights and a parrafin heater and my finishes are right up there with the best from peugeot, ford etc. its the booth prepwork before you start painting thats the key factor.
