I'm very pleased with the results so far, still need to leave the paint to cure for a week before we denib, flat and polish her up. I cant imagine it looking much better if we had a booth!
Well the next plan is to do rub down the last door and bonnet ready for paint!
p.s. Bet you cant guess the name of my Beagle in the background of pic one!

Im continuing to drive forward with getting the mini finished, doors, boot lid etc have now been prepared for paint and hopefully that will be starting tomorrow.
Ive also started to reassemble the car, so far it's been fairly straight foward, although the engine bay will no doubt be tricky, I mean so much stuff, so little room to put it back into!
Anyway here are some pics for anyone that might be following my thread.
Hope to have some more updates soom once the doors etc are finished.

Not even close, it's actually "Cooper"
Well anyhow more progesss has been made with the mini, if you can call it that. Entire engine bay is in, had a few drama's with a dodgy new head gasket so ended up changing that. It's starting fine however it's missing on one cylinder, it turns out one of the spark plugs is not sparking, so im hedging my bets on a dodgy ht lead or spark plug. Also the spepper motor is fubar so im awaiting the arrival of a new one off ebay this week. Also discovered a massive leak from the timing cover, so I'll have to change the gasket (epic job).
Doors and rear arches have been painted, rear arches and interior is now in.
I'll take some pics this week and upload them.

Well everything is now done except the bonnet and front arches need to be laquered and then polished. Got the old man to come and teach me how to bleed the brakes and im pleased to say they are very sensitive, im glad I decided to rebuild the calipers and replace the pistons now.
Might take it out of the workshop tomorrow to give it a little spin down the drive and back to clear some cobwebs.

P.S. One of the things i love about TMF is that no matter how long you've been a member there are some threads that you come across and think how have i not seen this before.

One of the things I forgot is that the inner cv gaitors need to be replaced, they have only been fitted 6 months ago from new and have already split So I have bought some genuine items to replace them.
